Welcome!  Through the gift of handmade blankets, Project Linus is able to provide a sense of security,
warmth and comfort, to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. We donate blankets to children from premature babies to eighteen years of age.

Whether you knit, crochet, quilt or love to make no-sew fleece blankets, with Project Linus, you’ll find a rewarding service opportunity for yourself or your group, while providing a child with comfort when they need it the most.

Our chapter has many meeting opportunities where we work on blankets, talk about blankets & share new blanket making ideas. When you join us, you’ll find yourself surrounded by warmth, good feelings, and some of the most amazing individuals you’ll ever get to meet! Project Linus “Blanketeers”!

Our Mission Statement
FIRST:  Provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”

Provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

November 2022
Our chapter has delivered our 200,000th blanket. 
 Thank you to all our wonderful blanketeers for comforting so many children through the years.
Looking forward to the next 100,000.
California Pizaa Kitchen fundraiser event will not be held in December. November 28th will be the last one for this year.
We are accepting blankets. Please keep making them.
Several drop off sites are available including Northbrook, Buffalo Grove and Gurnee.
